Brief Introduction to YC4E Series Engine
YC4E series diesel engine is developed by YUCHAI on the basis of YC6G series diesel engine with a displacement of 7.8 liters through stroke-shortening and bore-reducing which maintains advantages of YC6G series diesel engines and featured by higher dynamic characteristics and easier operation & maintenance to be used for high-speed and light-duty vehicles. Engines up to Euro-III standard adopt the BOSCH electronic control high-pressure CR or EUP fuel injection technology.
 
Adopting high-efficiency turbochargers with the bypass valve featured by better emission, lower fuel & oil consumption and quicker response.
 
Adopting intensified in-line P type pump and small-diameter 6-aperture P type injectors featured by lower emission and lower fuel consumption.
 
Adopting the verified slide-fit cylinder liner featured by better maintainability.
 
Meeting requirement of Euro-II & Euro-III standard of emission.
